Custom Carbon Fiber Manufacturing
From Engineering Requirements
to Manufacturable CFRP Structures
Custom carbon fiber manufacturing is MEGA’s B2B service for developing and producing application-specific CFRP structures. Our scope integrates structural load simulation, 3D CAD tooling design, laminate configuration, 3D preforming, bladder molding, compression molding, machining, quality verification, testing and production introduction.
MEGA Composite Technology Co., Ltd. is based in Taiwan. A project can begin with a product concept, existing CAD data, a physical sample or a metal-component lightweighting requirement. We evaluate an appropriate carbon fiber development approach according to product geometry, loads, mounting interfaces, dimensions and production conditions.
Custom CFRP Structures
Product and Structural Categories
Manufacturable dimensions are evaluated individually according to geometry, tooling, material configuration and molding conditions. MEGA does not apply one fixed dimensional limit to every project.
Panels, Thin Shells and Curved Components
Suitable for structural panels, mounting plates, equipment shells and products with complex curved geometry.
Tubes and Primary Structures
Developed according to cross-section, length, load direction and assembly conditions.
Rims and Mobility Components
Including motorcycle rims, bicycle rims, brake levers, handlebars and saddles.
Unmanned Vehicle Structures
High-load landing gear, primary structural tubes, panels, clamps and critical mounting interfaces.
Carbon Fiber–Metal Hybrid Components
Metal inserts and mounting interfaces are developed according to fastening, load, durability and assembly requirements.
Industrial and Custom Load-Bearing Structures
High-speed gantry crossbeams, high-stiffness low-inertia structures, load-bearing brackets and other custom structural components.
Engineering & Manufacturing
Engineering and Molding Capabilities
The molding process for each custom carbon fiber project is selected according to the product requirements. When a product includes high-load holes, metal inserts or special mounting interfaces, MEGA also evaluates preforming, tooling, machining, assembly and quality-verification methods.
Structural Load Simulation
Evaluate load distribution and structural improvement directions according to applied loads, boundary conditions, product geometry and mounting interfaces.
Bladder Molding
Suitable for hollow, curved and complex geometries. Molding is developed according to tooling and internal pressurization conditions.
Compression Molding
Controlled tooling, pressure and molding parameters are used to establish dimensional, cosmetic and batch-to-batch consistency.
Tube Roll-Wrapping
Manufacturing of round, oval, square and other profile-section tubes.
3D Preforming
Fiber arrangements are developed to follow three-dimensional structures with complex geometry and critical load regions.
Molded-In Holes
For high-load holes and connection regions, molded-in hole development can reduce unnecessary fiber cutting caused by post-molding machining.
3D Preforming & Molded-In Holes
Developing Fiber Paths
for Critical Regions
MEGA can integrate structural load simulation, 3D CAD tooling design, three-dimensional preforming and molded-in holes into the overall development process.
- Load-region analysis
- Fiber-orientation planning
- 3D preforming
- Molded-in holes
- Concurrent tooling design
- Reduced post-machining risk

FAQ
Custom Carbon Fiber Manufacturing FAQ
Can we submit an inquiry without CAD data?
Yes. For the initial inquiry, provide your company information, application, project stage, estimated volume and schedule. Further technical data can be exchanged after the cooperation direction and confidentiality arrangements have been confirmed.
Does MEGA accept one-off prototypes or small pilot batches?
Prototype quantity, MOQ and production conditions are evaluated according to tooling, process, product complexity and estimated annual demand.
What is the maximum manufacturable size?
Manufacturable dimensions are evaluated individually according to product geometry, tooling, material configuration and molding conditions.
Are tooling and CNC machining completed entirely in-house?
MEGA leads 3D CAD mold and fixture design internally. Tool manufacturing and high-precision CNC machining are performed by qualified partners according to the specified requirements, while MEGA manages project integration and quality control.
